Meet Our Newest AWS Partner Network Ambassador: Justin Guse
Justin Guse, Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, was recently selected as an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Amazon Partner Network (APN) Ambassador, one of the select few in the US- not to mention the world! This is our second AWS APN Ambassador here at EagleDream. Our name is on the select list of only seven companies in the US to have more than one APN Ambassador. We sat down with Justin to gain further insight on what exactly an AWS APN Ambassador does, and his vision to fulfill his role as one of only thirty-two Partner Network Ambassadors in North America!

Can you tell us more about the APN Ambassador Program?
The APN Ambassador Program is a community of technical experts in the AWS Partner Network (APN) Consulting Partner community. APN Ambassadors are passionate about sharing their technical knowledge through public presentations, the creation of open source projects, and social media. APN Ambassadors possess multiple AWS certifications as well as in-depth AWS knowledge. As employees of APN Consulting Partners, they work closely with AWS Solution Architects to migrate, design, implement, and monitor AWS workloads. What does an AWS APN Ambassador do?
As AWS Partner Network Ambassadors, we are actively engaged with helping customers on their cloud journey into AWS. We share our AWS knowledge by speaking publicly at event, conference, and seminars, share our knowledge through social media, blogs, any type of written form of AWS how can be used. In short, education is fundamental to the program, and really aligns with our mission at EagleDream, to always put our customers first, and educate them on how they can solve their toughest challenges using technology.
We also help our organizations advance within the Partner network by assisting teammates with passing certifications and helping to achieve Competencies for the organization. EagleDream has a few competencies ourselves already, but I’m looking forward to helping our team achieve even more. -
What are you looking forward to the most / planning on doing with your new role?
One thing that I’m really excited about is partnering with AWS to collaborate on some AWS blog posts. I’ve had the pleasure of using many of the AWS services over the last 6+ years and learned a lot of interesting things that I have always wanted to share with a greater audience. I’m also looking forward to collaborating with the rest of the AWS APN Ambassador team to share ideas and also provide direct feedback to AWS product teams around enriching and improving AWS services. I love sharing insight around how AWS can services digitally transform business and enable those companies to do some amazing things in the cloud.

How has your role at EagleDream Technologies prepared you to be an AWS APN Ambassador?
EagleDream Technologies has provided me with the runway to exercise new ideas and try new things that I would have not had been able to do elsewhere. Leadership has given me many opportunities to adventure outside of my comfort zone and learn without fear. I’m fortunate to be surrounded by such a smart, talented, and caring group of individuals that have not only taught me many things along the way, but challenge me to constantly learn. In addition, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to work with some really great clients that have been instrumental in building who I am today.
