Ready, Set, Program!

Event Details

EagleDream Technologies and RIT are bringing the AWS Deepracer back to Rochester, NY for an exciting self-driving race car challenge.

The fastest way to get rolling with AI and Machine Learning is being brought back to Rochester. Exclusively sponsored by Amazon Web Services, EagleDream and RIT invite university students to join us as we team up to learn about advanced artificial-intelligence techniques.

We invite universities to assemble one or more teams to compete in the Deepracer Challenge Championship by programming and racing 1/18th scale self-driving race cars. Teams will work together to learn how to build and train AI algorithms using Amazon SageMaker software, deploying them to self-driving cars measuring about 10 inches, then racing the cars around a custom track. Going by the official AWS rules, the fastest car that stays on the track, wins!

The winning team will win a personalized Sportscar Weekend experience at Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen! One of the hottest Sportscar weekend events featuring the world’s leading manufacturers such Ferrari, BMW, AUDI, Acura Corvette, Lexus, and much more. Grand Prize includes:
